Every policy in one place, with its version and what changed. When the Terms or the Privacy Policy change in a way that matters, we ask you to agree again in the app.
Terms of Service
The rules for using the app, what you agree to, and what we promise.
Version 0.6 · updated October 23, 2026
What changed (6 versions)
- 0.6 · October 23, 2026

- 0.5 · October 22, 2026
Clearer wording. The rules didn't change.
- 0.4 · October 22, 2026 · asked everyone to agree again
The box now says you agree to the Terms and have read the Privacy Policy. We list every limit, explain that class reports wait until a week after everyone has taken that exam, and say what still works if you haven't agreed to an update yet: your classes stay open to read and Account always works; new files and AI features wait.
- 0.3 · October 22, 2026 · asked everyone to agree again
The first full Terms you agree to: you must be 18 or older, use the app to study (not to cheat), keep your own files, and accept that AI and predictions can be wrong. Disputes go to Pennsylvania courts for now, and you can still use small claims court.
- 0.2 · October 21, 2026
Added how payments and refunds will work, and how to reach us.

- 0.11 · October 23, 2026 · asked everyone to agree again
You can now sign in with Google. If you do, Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us, never your password. Our sign-in emails are now sent by a service called Resend.
- 0.10 · October 23, 2026
Clearer wording. Nothing about your data changed.
- 0.9 · October 22, 2026
If you join a course with a classmate's invite link and sign up, your account counts toward the course's 3 students after 1 day instead of 7, as long as your classmate's account is at least 7 days old. Guest accounts still never count.
- 0.8 · October 22, 2026 · asked everyone to agree again
If you invite classmates, they see only the course and, if you choose, your first name. If you join with a link, we record that you joined with that link, and the person who sent it sees how many people joined, never who.
- 0.7 · October 22, 2026 · asked everyone to agree again
We spell out exactly what's added to course insights from your class (including exam and topic names you type), that class reports wait a week after everyone's exam, what we send our AI and search providers, new time limits for research and other records, and the small record we keep that you agreed after you delete your account.
- 0.6 · October 22, 2026 · asked everyone to agree again
The first full Privacy Policy you're asked to read: every company that receives your data and why, your rights if you're outside the US, and that we keep a record of when you agreed to the Terms.
- 0.5 · October 22, 2026
Added the 18+ statement (we never ask your birthday), how to use your privacy rights, and how long we keep more kinds of data.
